Wilson married Amanda Melvina Brockerman on June 20, 1839 in Logan County, Ohio. Amanda was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 13, 1821. They raised 7 children all born in Rush Creek Township in Logan County, Ohio: Margaret (b 1842 d 1917), Wilson Jr. (b 1844 d 1917), Martin (b 1846 d 1927), Jasper (b 1851 d 1929), Charlotte (b 1853 d1937), Deliah (b 1855 d 1917), and James (b 1861 d 1909). They lived their entire lives in the same township and both are buried in the Rushsylvania Cemetery. She died in April 30, 1901 and he died 4 years later on January 10, 1905.
