Isaac, Sr. married Sarah Floyd in Bedford County, Tennessee before 1830, as evidence by the 1830 U.S. Census. They moved to Ohio in the early 1830's and eventually settled in Liberty Township, Harding County, Ohio where they bought land just across the Township line from his brother, James (our relative). Sarah was born in Tennessee about 1809. They raised 9 children: Newton (b 1833), Sophia (b 1836), Catherine M. (b 1838), Nancy (b 1841), Isaac, Jr, (b 1844), Huston (b 1846), Wilson (b 1849), Lee (b 1852), and Lydia (b 1855), all born on the farm in Liberty Township. Some time in the 1860's they moved to Henry County in northwest part of Ohio. They died there, Sarah before 1870 and Isaac after 1880.
