Eunice married Stephen Leigh (or Lee) on May 22, 1858 in Allen County, Ohio. Stephen was born in Allen County around 1831. They moved immediately to Washington Township in Paulding County, Ohio, which is on the Indiana border just a little north of Allen County. They raised 3 children: William (b. 1859), Wyatt (b. 1861), and Phillise Eva (b. 1864). During there first years of marriage, they lived on a farm with his parent Unlike most head of households, Stephen was not a farm own, in the 1860 and 1870 census, he is simply listed as a farm laborer and by age 49 in 1880, he is listed as having no occupation. By that time, they had moved to Goshen Township in Auglaize County just south of Allen County. Stephen died before 1900, When Eunice is listed as a widow and working as a nurse in Pleasant Township in Puttnam County, the county just north of Allen County. Eunice apparently died before 1910 probably in Ohio.
