Ladybug

This quilt was made for Brenna Noelani Petersen born 23 June 2005 at 11:13 p.m. weighing 4 lb 12.5 oz and measuring 17" long. Brenna was adopted by Grant and Wendy Petersen, who were present at her birth. This 45" x 45" inch baby quilt was designed by Nancy from a page in the "Quilting Calendar Block & Patterns-a-day" for March 16, 2004. The ladybug was appliqued onto the green background and the quilt was hand-quilted with echo quilting around and around the ladybug out to the edges. The quilt, which took 39 hours to make, has a green and white clover pattern on the back, with a label that is bordered by ladybugs.
