Japanese On-Point Quilt
I bought these prints for this quilt at an estate auction in Archie, Missouri.
About the same time, a friend gave me a book on Japanese quilts, so I took the
challenge, and modified one of the patterns in the book. The border fabric was
among the estate bundle, and the backing is the same print in brown.
The quilt is machine-quilted with a flower template that looks like a lotus flower. I used matching thread on each square so the quilting is hard to see.
