Japanese On-Point Quilt
The quilt is machine-quilted with a flower template that looks like a lotus flower. I used matching thread on each square so the quilting is hard to see.

I bought these prints for this quilt at an estate auction in Archie, Missouri.
About the same time, a friend gave me a book on Japanese quilts (Easy Japanese Quilt Style
by Julia Davis & Anne Muxworthy), so I took the
challenge,
and modified one of the patterns in the book. The border fabric was
among the estate bundle,
and the backing is the same print in brown.
