Graduation Cap
The various pieces of material were selected by Nancy and the quilt was completely handsewn and hand quilted. The blues squares have concentric squares and buttons were added to the blue caps and the white squares.

Nancy got this pattern from the May 1994 issue of
Quilt World. The quilt is 42 x 42 inches and was made
especially for the doctoral graduation of her friend,
Julie Zuehlke, on October 22, 1995.
