Cardinal
We have a mated pair of cardinals that frequent our bird feeder in the late afternoons. We refer to them as Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal and when Nancy looks out the kitchen window she will often say, "Oh, look! Mrs. Cardinal is here."

This quilt is a window blanket quilt that covers one
of our dining room windows during the winter time.
The design is one of Nancy's originals and she hand pieced
and quilted it. If you look closely, you can see the
snow flakes in the quilting in the blue sky.
