| A baby quilt made for my second grandnephew Brayden Robert McPherson, born 10 September 2007. The blocks were made from various blue and yellow fabrics. The circles were cut from circle-printed fabric and hand-appliqued to the blocks. Then the blocks were arranged to present the pattern seen, where the blue half of the blocks form squares within squares, purposefully set off-center. The circles were echo quilted by hand and the yellow stripes were hand quilted to set them off. |
