Alphos Marion married Myrtis Luella Mitchell on October 18, 1892 in Cedar County, Iowa. She was born in Iowa in October of 1873. In 1900, Alphos was farming in Iowa Township, in the southern part of Cedar County, Iowa. By 1910, he had moved his family north to Red Rock Township in Mower County, Minnesota, a few miles northeast of the city of Austin. In 1920, they were located in Windom Township, the next township south of Red Rock. By 1930, he had apparently retired and moved into Austin. Alphos died in Austin on May 17, 1950.
