Alfred Orah McAdams married Anne Eliza Patrick in Hardin County, Ohio on February 20, 1856. Anne Eliza was born on August 30, 1842, probably in Rush Township in Champaign County, Ohio. They raised a family of 6 children: Ottis Howard (b 1867), Mary Luella (b 1869), Martha Alma (b 1873), twin brother William J (b 1873), Emma Ivy (b 1876), and Hester Pearl (b 1879). It is believed that all the children were born in Hardin County and it probably was in Roundhead Township in the southwest corner of the county. Anne Eliza died on November 20, 1897 in Hardin County. About three years later in 1902, Alfred married a widow by the name of Lydia, probably Allen County and they moved to Union Township in Auglaize County where Alfred died on June 22, 1919.
